We are looking for a new Musician (Cantor)!!!

House of Prayer Lutheran Church, Aliquippa, PA, is seeking a Church Musician (Cantor) to lead the congregation in song.  The worship is liturgical, though lives into the fullness of multiple musical styles and eras.  The primary responsibilities would be to work with the pastor to design and lead worship (organist, pianist, accompanist, choir director, and teacher of music).  Looking for someone who will increase the passion for music in the church community.  There are two weekly worship services, Sunday morning and Sunday evening.  Additional worship times during Advent, Lent, Holy Week, etc.  The expected time commitment is about 15 hours per week.  For questions or application, please contact Pastor Michael Sourwine (msourwine@hoplutheran.org or 724-375-2033), 2100 Irwin St., Aliquippa, PA  15001.

ELCA Youth Gathering

Our youth are going to the ELCA Youth Gathering (in New Orleans) next summer.  As part of their preparation and fundraising, they will be serving a classy sit down dinner on February 11, 2012.  More details will be posted soon!
