In the Scriptures, there is a story of a bunch of people who are slaves. God decides that those people should be set free. And God makes it happen. Once the people are free, they realize that they need food and nourishment. Again, God makes it happen. God gives the people manna. It is a bread-like substance. It isn’t everything that they need in life, but it is a beginning. It keeps them going. And it was a gift from God.

~ Exodus 16 & Numbers 11
